 02/08/10   Swimmers, please remember that the Section 6 boys high school championships are going on today and tomorrow. Both blue and Senior 2 swimmers will be using the EAST pool for practice today
Senior 1 swimmers should enter the small pool by getting changed in the lockerroom first and then coming through the GREEN doors after Coach Rick opens them up. Remember there is an alarm so you will need to enter and exit quickly. There is also no DRYLAND practice for SR 1 swimmers this week.
 02/07/10   Drew Deren, Sara Lagree, Olivia Sterns and Alicia Wheeler qualified for the Niagara Championships in March
Yesterday, these four swimmers joind STAR's large contingent of swimmers for the Niagara LSC Championships in March which will be located in Webster. Congratulations!!!
 02/07/10   For those swimmers who have made either "A" times for the FIRST time or more "A" times, I will take you out of the "BB" meet in Tonawanda ONLY for those events.
 02/06/10   Ashley Harrington qualifies for SPEEDO Championships in the 200 fly
Ashley swam a 2:10.26 bettering the qualifiying time by more than a second. This is Ashley's first time making this prestigiuos meet. Way to go!!!
 02/02/10   STAR Board meeting - Wednesday, February 10th at 5:30pm at the ECC Board room
Normally we want to have these meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, but for February, the Boy's HS sectionals are that night. As always, any STAR parent is welcome to attend.
 02/01/10   Niagara Championship qualifier meet (Feb 26-28) is filling up very fast
Swimmers, I have just been informed that this meet may already be filled. Please get me any last minute changes right away and I will see if I can make those changes. Thank you.

STAR ranks as the 103rd best team in the country out of ,2039 teams. STAR also ranks 29th out of 538 teams in the Eastern United States. Finally STAR is 1st in Niagara. Way to go STAR and lets keep getting faster!!!!
